Contemporary Japanese reporting dates Tokyo Toy Show 2000 to March 16–19 at Tokyo Big Sight. March 16–17 were trade days, leaving March 18–19 as public days. The April attribution repeated by a collector archive and a Reddit post conflicts with the period record and is corrected here. [27, 35]
Distribution: strong attribution, incomplete mechanism
Japanese listings identify C-E1 as a Bandai booth visitor benefit. Another Japanese seller describes workshop distribution. Those accounts could describe overlapping activities, but do not establish identical conditions or later redistribution. An original C-E1 giveaway notice is still missing. [28, 29]
The public weekend is a plausible visitor handout window, not a verified card-specific release day. C-E2 and C-E3 cannot be assigned to this show merely because they share the C-E prefix.
