WORKSHOP PROMO / 2000 C-E2 Setting Sail! Going Merry

Paired photographs from PSA seller listing 307081627931 | Certification 160876368

What the physical example establishes

The face reads BANDAI 2000 MADE IN JAPAN and C-E2. The photographed PSA label says Carddass Seminar Participation. This is a grading classification, not a recovered Bandai award regulation. [32]

A Japanese seller instead describes C-E2 as an official tournament top finisher prize. The available evidence supports an organized play connection, but does not establish whether every attendee, selected finishers, or different groups at different events received it. [31]

Actual front/back photographs of the same listed specimen; matching certification on both sides. [32]

Owner provenance and eligibility

C-E2 OWNER PROVENANCE The October 14, 2000 lead

A specific place, date and recollection

Mercari seller saya states that they personally obtained C-E2 at a workshop held in Asakusa, Tokyo, on October 14, 2000. The listing gives a capacity of 100 and refers to photograph 14. This names a claimed acquisition event, rather than repeating only a rarity description. [30]

What could and could not be checked

The written owner account was readable. Photograph 14 could not be retrieved for inspection, so its wording and authenticity have not been checked here. The fan overview lists the same event at 10:00 a.m.; those records may share a source and are not treated as independent confirmation. [9, 30]

Question Current answer

Does October 14 prove first distribution? No. It identifies a claimed acquisition event.

Does capacity 100 mean only 100 cards? No. Capacity is not attendance, allocation or production.

Does workshop mean no tournament? No. Teaching and competition can share an event.

Is winner-only distribution established?

No. One seller says top finishers, which also differs from winner-only.

The decisive missing document is an original event notice showing the card ID and award conditions together. A date alone cannot settle eligibility.
